Monday Reminders

Music Concert:
On Thursday, October 22 at 10:50 we invite you to come watch your child in music class. The Kindergarten class is practicing songs and activities to show parents what they have been learning this year in music. Bring your camera and come to join us!

Report Cards & Conferences:
We have already completed one quarter of school and it is time for report cards and parent-teacher conferences. A sign up sheet for conferences will be posted beginning Wednesday, October 21 if you would like to discuss your child’s progress so far in the year. Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 28 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Thursday, October 29 from 7:30 am – 12:30 pm. Please note that there will be no classes for students on Thursday, October 29. Report cards were given out on Friday, October 16 in your child’s folder.

After School Activities:
This week is the last week for the first season of ASAs. There will be no after school activities next week. A new signup sheet will be sent soon for the second season ASAs.

High Frequency Words:
The High Frequency Word for the week of October 19th is my. Don’t forget to review all the High Frequency Words that we have learned: I and see.

IA Fundraiser:
The InterAmerican Student Council and National Honor Society are running a fundraising event to raise money for charitable projects during the year. The Student Council and NHS are asking for personal and corporate donations for an auction held during the Thanksgiving dinner on November 24. Suggested donations include electronics, gift certificates, products from retailers, fine art, or professional services. Last Monday a donation sheet was sent home in your child’s folder. Please return this form by Friday, October 30 if you wish to contribute a donation.
